Waterfalls and rocks and such

So my best friend convinced me to treat myself and I purchased a fancy hammock. I'm no big wilderness guy I don't camp as much as I'd like or even go outside for that matter. So far this hammock has been an incredible investment, and it's only day one! I've put it up at a golf course, in my garage, and in Moss Rock! It's big enough for two so you bet your ass that best friend of mine will be enjoying it with me! So far I've only shared it with mom but it will become a commonly shared item soon enough! I can't wait to enjoy it more. THANKS FOR CONVINCING ME SARAH! YOU'RE THE BEST!

Shattered my screen not my dreams

Yesterday, day six of working on a feature film, I dropped my iPhone and shattered the screen. Now to most people this would be devastating, to an Apple employee like myself this would be disastrous! But for whatever reason all I could do was smile. It was probably the highlight of my day, and I had a really great day. It gives my phone character and cuts my fingers at the same time. Sure pictures are a little distorted and I can't see some of the stuff I type, but I think I will survive! I think a younger, more self centered Trey would have been very upset with the shattering of his precious iPhone. Not this Trey! He couldn't be happier!

We came to chop!

This past week was one of the busiest and most tiring weeks of my entire life. A lot of different kinds of work, learning things I never thought I would know, hanging out with the leader of the Goonies and Frodo's first mate, and lots of standing around. I enjoyed my first week on a film set and can not wait to continue this experience.

This weekend was one of the best I have ever had. Miss Thigpen and I took on the tall towers of Atlanta! We did it all! We visited the aquarium, saw the Braves win it, and one of us experienced IKEA for the first time! What an incredible time we had.

things that are nice

I try not to buy myself things often. So I thought I would make a list of things I will never own.
...

So I started to make a list, then I realized that I didn't like doing that. I like nice things and when I see them all listed, I feel really selfish. I see people spend absurd amounts of money everyday so I think I will just live vicariously through my customers. Shoes, books, clothes, cars, a bunch of shit I won't ever need! That won't make me happy, I'm happy without all of that fancy stuff! Not saying I won't purchase them one day. Right now is not the time, I need to do more appreciating of others before I can appreciate myself!!

so clutch

Starting Monday this guy will be busy. I am excited for the opportunity I have and I will be working my ass off to make a good impression. Lately things have been so bright I don't think this could go anywhere but up! I am incredibly happy and I don't see that changing.

I have had a great week. Picnics! Movies! Great eats! All is well.

I studied up

So I looked up some female artists. Here's what I found/here's what I like. All three of these woman do something different. I love Rosa's animals. They look so funny and I'm sure they're not supposed to be. So much detail and color, it is exquisite! Krasner kind of just goes for it. I feel like she just sees what she wants and just lays down some painting law. It's colorful and complex. I think the last is my favorite, that woman is so wrinkly and I love it. Her skin just tells a story and so do her works. That giant spider creature is something else. What a mind this woman has! I need to know her story. More on her later. There is one more that really knows how to art and her name is Sarah. She is the most talented person I have ever met. Much more from her to come!

Rosa Bonheur.

Lee Krasner.

Louise Bourgeois.
